Trade shows are combination of high-level strategy and low-level details. Here are some tips to remember before putting up or participating in a trade show.

1. Have a goal. Think about what you will get out of this trade show? Would it help you sell your products? Is it for launching a new product or for promotion? Having a clear set of goal will help you determine what the best moves for your trade fair.

2. Research trade show and decide your own message. This message is not necessarily that long, but it must be concise and the main thought of your motives must be there. If you are launching new product, it must be attractive and can stand out on the crowd.

3. Plan your trade display. Think about your target customer. Is it for wholesale or just single buyers? Pick up the appropriate booth for your display, check the space provided and also its location. Make sure that it can accommodate different type of audiences and their needs. Make your booths simple but definitely different.

4. Design your banner and handouts. Make it clever, unique and very different. Invite your clients, customer and supplier in advance. Make sure that they will attend in the trade show that you will particularly participating.

5. Have enough people to work, prepare your giveaways and promote the show.
